During your journey through Dragon’s Dogma 2’s large world, you’ll encounter many points of interest. One interesting place is the Hot Springs, which allows the player to bathe after a long adventure.
But what do the Hot Springs do in Dragon’s Dogma 2? This guide has the answer for you.
Do the Hot Springs do anything in Dragon’s Dogma 2?
The Hot Springs in Dragon’s Dogma 2 only has one purpose I have discovered so far: to heal your pawn’s scars. As your pawn dies in Dragon’s Dogma 2, they will begin to create scars that can get to the point of taking over a large part of the body.
The more your pawn dies, the more prominent the scars will get. The Hot Springs will remove these scars completely, making your pawn look clean and healthy.
All you need to do is enter the Hot Springs with your pawn and let them rest there with you. Hang out there for a few minutes, and voila! The scars will be removed from your pawn. If you like the look of scars, then I recommend not sitting in the Hot Springs, as there is no other point.
While this removing scars is great, I wish the Hot Springs had done more. I would have loved it if the Hot Springs had granted a buff such as additional health or defense, or maybe even filled the health loss gauge.
How to find the Hot Springs in Dragon’s Dogma 2
If you haven’t found the Hot Springs yet on your journey through Dragon’s Dogma 2, just know that it is located in Greyser Hamlet in Volcanic Island Camp. This area is in the southernmost region, the Agamen Volcanic Island.
If you plan on making the trip to this region, do your best to prepare yourself with the best weapons. The Agamen Volcanic Island is considered a late-game area and has the most challenging enemies you’ll find in the game. I was around level 35 when I first entered this area and was having some trouble defeating the enemies easily.
