Counter-Strike 2 is not a game for the casual first-person shooter enjoyer. Counter-Strike is synonymous with sweaty, super intense, and unbelievable plays that break the very foundations of code. With any game like this, every little statistic and number is important because they are the things that change the outcome of a match. With the release of CS2, the ADR number at the end of a game is getting people confused.
What does ADR mean in CS2?
Simply put, ADR means Average Damage per Round in CS2. This shows just how much damage a player has done per round to the opposing team. This is a good way to see which players, even if they didn’t actually rack up that many kills, contributed to the win or loss. Sometimes it isn’t about the finish. It’s about the way you get there.
The ADR number in CS2 is a new way to see what kind of assists people perform during a game. Often games will have an assist counter, but this could be one point of damage or 99. With the ADR counter, it is now possible to see just how much damage has been handed out.
Bear in mind that it takes 100 damage to kill a player in Counter-Strike 2. So, anything close to 100 is excellent. This equates to killing another player and means their assists have made a real difference to the game.
It is possible to see your ADR in both single matches and as an overall performance stat. This allows you to see just how much average damage you are putting out in all your games combined. Headshots, of course, are a straight-up 100 for your ADR, so snipers are always going to be killing it on the multi-game score, but probably not in the single game.
To calculate your ADR in CS2, you need to divide the amount of rounds you played.
