World of Warcraft is experiencing a resurgence as of late, especially more so due to Blizzcon and the announcements that the team made during this.
The War Within is WoW’s tenth expansion, and one feature they announced is Delves, which players will want to wrap their heads around beforehand.
WoW The War Within: What Are Delves?
A feature that has been persistent in WoW over the years is a flurry of end-game content for players to sink their teeth into, and this usually includes Raids and Mythic+ Dungeons.
However, while this may be right up some player’s alleys, Delves are going to fill the void that WoW players were seeking, and it’s going to be incorporated right into the open world.
Announced during the WoW deep dive during Blizzcon, Delves will be a brand new form of seasonal content that one to five players can partake in alongside an NPC.
Players will seamlessly go up to these in the world, and it’ll begin, and thus, you’re in a piece of content that’s all about the endgame. This has long been requested, as players have speculated that Delves will be the entry point to the endgame, which is usually intimidating and a little too hardcore for players who want to experience all the world (of Warcraft) has to offer.
These will differ from the regular dungeons, as players can go into these as any class. There isn’t a requirement to have only one tank, for instance.
The end of these Delves is not going to coincide always with a final boss, as sometimes there are going to be puzzles for players to tackle, and there will always be treasure to loot.
If you missed the Blizzcon deep dive into Delves, we highly recommend watching it below. The section for Delves begins at 3:00.
Delves are going to be an exciting feature that is coming to World of Warcraft: The War Within, and we’ll hear about these more as the expansion looms.
