Black Ops Cold War And Warzone Judge Dredd Crossover

Black Ops Cold War and Warzone teaser hints at Judge Dredd crossover

Call of Duty could be getting dystopian

Call of Duty: Warzone has participated in some high-profile crossovers in the past. Last Halloween, fans could purchase some creepy Jigsaw and Leatherface skins. More recently, the 80’s action heroes Rambo and John McClane were available for fans to purchase. As well as these, the iconic Nakatomi Plaza was added to the game. For a limited time, players could access a vault in the building and get some high tier loot. Now, it appears that the next instalment of action heroes could be getting ready to drop into the game. Fans believe that Judge Dredd could be the next crossover in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.

Judge Dredd is a law enforcement officer in a dystopian city. The character started out as a comic book franchise, convicting and executing criminals. Then, Judge Dredd made his debut on the big screen in 1995.

Is Call of Duty teasing the addition of Judge Dredd?

A teaser of a new operator was shared on the Call of Duty Twitter page. The teaser shows images of four different parts of the character skin. The aspect of the teaser that left fans convinced that the upcoming operator is Judge Dredd, is the gold shoulder pads. This is just the first teaser, so more could be on the way in the lead up to the release of the skin.

Without confirmation from Activision, it cannot be confirmed that Judge Dredd will arrive in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone just yet. Also, at the time of writing, it is unknown when the operator will be available to purchase. However, as the first 80’s actions heroes crossover introduced some iconic characters, we can expect this to be repeated with somebody like Judge Dredd. It will be interesting to see if the crossover brings any other changes to Warzone and Black Ops Cold War.
