Call of Duty: Warzone Season Four has introduced some brand new content to the battle royale, including new weapons, the addition of Red Doors, and more. Although Warzone Season Four has only been out for less than a week, Raven Software already has a patch out for the latest issues. The patch addresses various bugs and hits the new MG 82 light machine gun with a nerf. In addition, the patch notes state what the developers are monitoring, suggesting what changes fans could expect in the future.
The main target of the patch is the MG 82 light machine gun. It has already proven to be a little too powerful in Verdansk and Rebirth Island. Therefore, its damage and damage range have been decreased. Also, the multipliers have been decreased and the horizontal and vertical recoil control have been increased. However, Raven Software noted that the damage and rate of fire remain unchanged. If you are a fan of the MG 82, there is no need to worry about whether or not it is still viable. It definitely is.
The patch squashes bugs in Warzone Season Four
In terms of bugs, an issue has been addressed which required players to restart the game to unlock a gifted battle pass. Similarly, tier skips should now work as intended when receiving a gifted battle pass bundle. Next, a bug that caused a locked door to kill players at the Salt Mine has been fixed. Another notable bug fix is that if you use a QBZ-83 blueprint, it should no longer cause your game to crash.
Finally, some exciting changes may be inbound in Call of Duty: Warzone, as outlined in the Season Four patch. Raven Software is exploring options for countering the dead silence perk. Even though these are the only details that have been shared, we may expect to hear more in the near future. Moreover, the developers are keeping an eye on the Nail Gun and may rebalance it.
We already have some build guides for the new weapons in Season Four. You can find those and more on our Call of Duty guides and features hub.
