Next month will see the arrival of the first piece of DLC called Sigmar’s Blessing. The DLC will bring new features including player control over dropped loot, a new altar at the Inn to “sacrifice existing loot”, new traits are being added to the loot tables, and new “red” unique weapon drops for all 40 weapon types.

“We couldn’t be happier to reach 300,000 sales of Vermintide so far and the player reception and feedback, has left us humbled more than anything,” said Martin Wahlund, CEO of Fatshark. “I’m super excited to announce that Sigmar’s Blessing will be free for all current and future Vermintide players, plus, going forward, Vermintide will offer alternating free and paid DLC”.

Fatshark has also outlined their future plans for the game such as adding a private mode, removing the game HUD, crosshairs, and finally a survival mode where players will have to take on waves of enemy to see how long they can last.

Sigmar’s Blessing will be released on 3rd December for free so keep an eye on the Steam page of you fancy it.
