Preferred loadout and battlefield role
- Weapons – Storm Bolter (you’d hardly use ranged weapons) + Falchions (or any melee weapon with a high crit rate).
- Armor – N/A.
- Wargear – A Frag Grenade is always useful. However, if you’ve unlocked the extra Wargear Slot, you can add a scroll/item that increases your crit rate further.
With the above setup, your Interceptor class in Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters should have everything he needs to slice and dice the creatures of Chaos. Your Teleport-related abilities are the crux here, as these allow you to bypass enemy overwatch and get close to targets quickly. If enemies are bunched up, then Teleport Strike can hit several hostiles (it can definitely kill most low-level mobs). Likewise, with a Frag Grenade, you could disrupt enemy auto-counters so your teammates can move or act.
Meanwhile, Hammerhand and Melee Discipline turn you into a battlefield executioner. Alternatively, Support Fire becomes integral since you can blast foes that are shot by allies (you should be near plenty of targets due to your Teleport and Teleport Strike skills). Lastly, if you can manage to get an extra Wargear slot, then you can have grenades and a passive item to increase your crit rate.
