London, UK, Paris, FR and San Francisco, CA (26th July, 2011) — Wargaming.net is proud to announce the opening of the European branch to manage the company’s public and business relations in Europe, with Frédéric Menou as the Managing Director.
The company believes that his tremendous experience, first as Support Services Director and then as Managing Director Europe at Blizzard Entertainment, will help Frédéric Menou to bring Wargaming.net to the league of the best European online gaming publishers.
In its initial stages, the European branch of Wargaming.net will include more than 40 professionals to recruit and manage full-scale PR, Marketing, Community, and Support departments. The main office will be located in Paris, France, with a subsidiary in Berlin headed by Mario Baumann.
“Having an office in Europe will get us much closer both to our gaming community and our partners,” said Wargaming.net CEO Victor Kislyi. “We have an excellent team of professionals able to get us to the top. It’s just a matter of time now.”
