Insert your own jokes about an Eastern Bloc party due to this first free DLC for Wargame: Red Dragon, please.
The DLC – titled The Millionth Mile – adds 60 new units for Poland, Czechoslovakia, and East Germany, and brings them “into the 90s and on an equal footing with Wargame: Red Dragon‘s main nations.” Which sounds good. I guess you’d have problems playing as them if you were stuck in the 1920s, or something. Either way, this means a massive new spread of units: infantry, tanks, planes, troop transports, helicopters, and more.
That’s not all, though. This DLC also adds a brand new unit – the ASmH (anti-ship missile) truck, which is a big bit of missile artillery that can engage ships from very, very far away. And from land. There are six of these buggers included, with three per alliance.
I don’t think we ever got around to reviewing Wargame: Red Dragon, which is a bit sad because all indications are that it’s pretty good. I know I liked Wargame: European Escalation, so maybe this is worth looking out for in a sale or something! Either way, The Millionth Mile is out now and it’s free, so if you already own the game, it should magically download for you. Unless you have to click to install it on Steam or something first, in which case you should just head over here and do that.
