Gaijin Entertainment’s WWII-based aerial combat title War Thunder is now up, up and away and soaring into open beta. If you fancy signing up for the beta, get yourself over to the game’s site and earn your pilots license (you don’t actually have to earn a license, you can probably just get a code and a client to download.)
War Thunder has attracted upwards of 600,000 players during its closed beta test, so it’s fair to say that the skies are quite crowded out there. In the game you can choose to align yourself with either the USA, Britain, Japan, Germany or the USSR.
“After four years of working on War Thunder, we’re sincerely happy that we can finally present it to the gaming community all over the world,” says creative director Kirill Yudintsev.
