Relic has announced a release date for the much-anticipated ‘World Builder’ map editing and creation tool for Company of Heroes 2. It’ll be released on 12 November as part of a free updated called Turning Point, which will also include a pair of new multiplayer maps and four new Commanders.

Those two maps will be ‘Rails and Metal’ and ‘Lazur Factory,’ the latter of which you can see in the trailer below. What’s a Lazur Factory? It’s where Stalin produces his lazurs for his army of lazur robots. Obviously.

Two of the Commanders (one from each faction, Russian and German) are said to have been designed by Company of Heroes 2 players during a visit to Relic’s studios last summer.

Relic’s Twitch channel will be previewing the maps tomorrow (5 November,) though the press release doesn’t specific what time this will actually occur. Neither does the game’s official site. So, err, keep an eye on it all day, I guess? On 6 November the same channel will show the World Builder tool. Again, there’s no time schedule specified for that.
