It’s all happening for Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide at the moment, as today sees the launch of new DLC, a free weekend for the game on Steam, and a concurrent sale.

As usual for a freebie weekend, Vermintide will be playable at no cost between now and 1pm (Pacific US time) this coming Sunday (29 May). The 40% off sale will run a bit longer, until 10am (Pacific) on Monday.
This is all part of a promotional blitz to coincide with the newly released Drachenfels DLC (priced at £6.00 GBP / $9.00 USD). The add-on gives you three new levels in which to wade through hordes of Skaven (Castle Drachenfels, Summoner’s Peak, The Dungeons), plus a couple of new weapons (something two-handed for Kerillian, and a repeater crossbow for Saltzpyre).
