Vampire Survivors Passive Item Guide Featured Image

Vampire Survivors: Passive item guide

Passive, but not passé.

There are three choices that determine the success of a given run in Vampire Survivors: your choice of character, your choice of weapons, and your choice of passive items.

Recommended Videos

While the latter is generally considered the least important of the three, and rightly so, the passive items you pick up can have a huge impact regardless, both on your character’s stats and the weapon evolutions you have access to.

To make the best passive item choices for your build, you’ll need access to the complete information. That’s where our comprehensive Vampire Survivors passive item guide comes in. Read on to learn what each passive item does, how you can unlock it, and which weapon evolutions it enables.

A complete guide to the passive items of Vampire Survivors

Introduction: What passive items are, and where you can find them

Before we get to the guide itself, it’s a good idea to go over the core principles of passive items first. Passive items modify your character’s stats, almost always in a positive way. They can be acquired by leveling up, in the same way as weapons, by picking them up if you find them lying around in a Stage, or by receiving them as a reward from treasure chests. Once you have six passive items, you can’t obtain more by leveling up, but you can still collect those that appear as stage items, meaning you can easily have ten or more in a single run if you plan things out carefully.
