Valve On The Counter-Strike 2 Petition

This article is over 14 years old and may contain outdated information

At last week’s X10 event we caught up with Valve to quiz the Half Life developer on the issue of Counter-Strike 2.As we reported earlier this month, an internet petition has emerged urging the developer to release a sequel to the classic online shooter.Speaking to Valve’s Chet Faliszek at the X10 event last week, we asked him whether the petition could persuade the developer to make a sequel.“Oh wait, there’s an internet petition,” he joked.  “That must be legally binding.””We’re not talking about Counter-Strike 2 today,” he added. When we pressed him on the issue, noting that Valve took notice of the Left 4 Dead petition, Faliszek dodged the issue with all the skill of a politician.
