Valkyria Chronicles is on top of Steam’s sales charts, following its release last November 11.
The game has stayed on top since the release of Assassin’s Creed Unity, which may have been received poorly upon release, but is still a major release for Ubisoft. It should be interesting to see if Valkyria stays on top after the release of Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Sega Europe’s Senior Vice President of Commercial Publishing John Clark shared this message:
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the fans for their support in the phenomenal success of this launch. We’re also delighted at the response from the Steam community which indicates that newcomers to the series are finding it as enchanting and engaging as those who have played it before.
