Do drills work in space? I hope so.

If you knew how, there was a secret-ish space mission in the original release of Surgeon Simulator 2013 (I think you had to collect all the floppy disks and then run them all.) Today, developers Bossa Studios have announced that a pair of additional galactic surgery quests will be added to the game as a free update. The title should automatically update itself within the next 24 hours.

This time, Nigel will be attempting a little brain surgery and a good old fashioned kidney transplant (probably a double one, knowing this title.) Alternatively, he’ll be causing the unfortunate deaths of a couple more hapless patients. However the surgery goes, there’s probably an achievement in it for you; 18 new ones are being included with this update.

Bossa claims that Top Secret World-Stopping Secret Contentâ„¢ will be included too, which will supposedly be accessed through an Alternative-Reality Game (ARG) codenamed Trisha. I … don’t really know what that means, but you can follow clues in the Steam forum or at the game’s twitter account.
