UK retailer Gamestation has announced it now “owns” the souls of more than 7,500 gamers following an April Fools terms and conditions stunt.

In a ploy to highlight how most gamers ignore the T&C of an online sale, Gamestation added the “Immortal Soul Clause” which transfers the ownership of the customer’s soul to the company.

The retailer revealed that 88 per cent of customers failed to spot the clause (or signed over their soul anyway), while the 12 per cent who opted out each received a £5 GBP gift voucher.

If you lost your soul to Gamestation, you’ll be glad to know you’ll soon be receiving an email from company execs nullifying the agreement. Thanks Bit-Tech.
