Ubisoft have announced that its Quebec studio will start development on a future Assassin’s Creed title (not Unity). The Quebec studio is no stranger to the Assassin’s Creed franchise as they have been involved with the series since Brotherhood.
“With a creative team of over 350 talented members,” Managing Director, Nicolas Rioux said, “we are one of Ubisoft’s flagship studios in the creation of the highest quality online, connected and mobile gaming worlds.”
The Quebec studio has worked on games such as Prince of Persia, Watch Dogs, and Heroes of Might and Magic. The next main Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed: Unity is only coming to PS4 and Xbox One but Ubisoft were quick to say that they haven’t forgotten about the hordes of fans who are still playing on Ps3’s and Xbox 360’s, could this new game be for them?
