Ubisoft has revealed that it already knows where Assassin’s Creed 3 will be set.Speaking to CVG, Ubisoft Montreal studio head Yannis Mallat responded to a question about which “pivotal moments” the next Assassin’s Creed will visit by saying “oh yeah.”As for an “ending” for the whole story, though, particularly with what’s going on with Desmond – “Who talked about an ending?” said Mallat.”We know how to keep our secrets. Think about it, Assassin’s Creed as a brand is definitely oriented towards reliving pivotal moments in history. So along that path we may revisit some interesting moments.”French Revolution, maybe? That was teased for Assassin’s Creed 2, after all. We can’t help but feel that the final game – or at least the final section of the final game – will have to give players direct control of Desmond in the modern world, though.Check out how Assassin’s Creed 2 – due out on 20 November – is shaping up in our hands-on preview.
