Ubisoft has stressed game quality was the reason behind the Splinter Cell: Conviction delay. In an interview with CVG, Conviction multiplayer head Patrick Redding said he is confident the delay will mean better review scores.”I definitely do [think reviews will be worth the delays],” he said.“We have a lot of stake in Splinter Cell as a brand and the one thing I think we agree on internally is that no one wants to be the team that sinks the franchise.”In other Conviction news, Ubi also recently announced the game will not feature dedicated servers.
