Neocore Games has announced two expansions for King Arthur: The Role-Playing Wargame. The expansions – one for the Saxons and one for the Welsh – are to add in new units, heroes, and hero abilities, as well as new quests and objectives. We suspect that many players will be interested in the touted sandbox campaign which removes the story elements and plays out more like a wargame, with players taking the role of either a Christian or Old Faith king. This will feature a redesigned economic system, a diplomatic system, and player-set win conditions. Our own Peter Parrish was mightily impressed with King Arthur: The Role-Playing Wargame, and these expansions – due to launch in March and in April – will hopefully reinvigorate interest in the game. Check out our review to see what’s so good about it.
