Twenty minutes of Skyrim footage

This article is over 13 years old and may contain outdated information

Bethesda’s Todd Howard has been hard at work adding a voiceover to twenty minutes of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim footage that was shown behind closed doors during E3 and PAX.
Chances are (unless you’re a games journalist) you won’t have seen this yet, so here we go with the first of three parts:
Part One: In which our hero kills some dogs, chats to some terminally boring NPC villagers, rides a horse and tackles a dragon. Todd Howard gets excited about some mountains.

Part Two: In which our hero shoots a guy with an arrow, wields a pair of swords, sets a spider on fire, is cruel to skeletons, solves a door puzzle and reads some runes. Todd Howard gets excited about hand-crafted dungeons.

Part Three: In which our hero gets roughed up by a giant, electricutes a dragon, climbs a tower and gets rained on. Todd Howard gets excited about factions.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is due to be released this November, on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
