Trine 2 to expand with the ‘Goblin Menace’ add-on

Frozenbyte has unveiled a much-rumoured add-on to Trine 2 at Gamescom 2012, in the form of Goblin Menace. This expansion will add six new stages and some brand new character skills that can retroactively be used in the base game. It’ll be available on PC later this autumn (with a price yet to be announced) and included with the Wii U version whenever that one launches.

“Trine 2: Goblin Menace is an expansion that we wanted to cultivate with a lot of time, effort and love,” says Frozenbyte’s Lauri Hyvarinen.
