Treyarch is treating Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone players to some double XP. Starting this weekend, you will be able to take advantage of the event and boost your seasonal rank. In addition, both Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone were given a new playlist update, providing the perfect modes for some double XP.
The latest update kept the fan favorite playlists Nuketown ’84 and Raid 24/7. Due to the small size of these maps they are ideal for racking up that all important XP. The new addition to the rotation is a 3v3 gunfight snipers-only mode, which has been introduced into Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. This mode was first released into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019, and it proved to be a hit. Here, you can play quick matches to test your sniping skills with your friends, while still earning a good amount of XP.
If you prefer a more light-hearted mode, Prop Hunt has remained in the rotation. In this mode, players disguise as objects to play hide and seek around the map. Usually, the mode offers minimal XP, however, double XP will make it more beneficial to your rank.
Next, if you are a Call of Duty: Warzone fan, you will also have the opportunity to enjoy some double XP, too. To rank up even more quickly, you may want to hop into a game of Rebirth Island. As the map is much more condensed than Verdansk, you will encounter enemy players more often. The new Mini Royale Quads mode taking chaos to a new level. Moreover, Rebirth Island allows you to respawn, meaning you have more opportunities to get involved in the action.
A Black Ops Cold War double XP event that is not to be missed
The double XP event will begin on December 31 and will last until January 4. Since the launch of the game, players were quick to realize that ranking up is not easy. So, start the New Year off with a bang and hop into the action!
