Total War: Warhammer 2 – Malekith and Morathi ability posters

Last week it was the Lizardmen, and now it’s the turn of the Dark Elves to get some Total War: Warhammer 2 Lord ability posters. Morathi’s actually came out last night, but here’s her and her son Malekith together. Since, you know, they have a ‘close’ relationship.

As with previous Legendary Lord ability images, these don’t show absolutely everything the character can do. They’re usually some amalgam of quest items, personal skills, and faction-wide effects.

Malekith’s mentions his dragon mount, Seraphon (available at level 18), as well as his Destroyer sword and Spellshield. Destroyer apparently “withers wills” (probably a leadership effect?), while the shield can absorb the enemy’s winds of magic reserves. He’s also got a powerful Doombolt spell, really really hates High Elves, and can boost Black Dragons and War Hydras.

Meanwhile, most of Morathi’s poster seems to talk about how she avoids being hit in combat. Her ‘Enchanting Beauty’ and the blessings of the Chaos Gods (interesting, they’re going the Chaos route for Morathi in Total War: Warhammer 2) make it difficult for opponents to attack. The Heartrender and Darksword quest item pairing also cause enemies to “fumble” their hits.

Here are both images (click for larger versions). Total War: Warhammer 2 comes to PC on 28 September.
