Total War: Warhammer 2‘s The Shadow & The Blade DLC introduces Deathmaster Snikch. The death-dealer of Clan Eshin is a sneaky-squeaky assassin, taking out foes without them even knowing. He’s even got a blade at the end of his tail, because why not? This guide looks at Deathmaster Snikch’s abilities, campaign perks, managing contracts from the Skaven’s great clans, the Shadowy Dealings mechanic, his final battle, and more.
Note 1: For more information, check out our guides and features hub for Total War: Warhammer 2 – The Shadow & The Blade.
Note 2: The guide will primarily cover Total War: Warhammer 2‘s Vortex campaign. However, I’ll make note of any tips and info regarding Mortal Empires.
Deathmaster Snikch and Clan Eshin
This guide is divided into multiple pages, each detailing various mechanics or quirks when you’re playing as Deathmaster Snikch.
- I. Overview – Check out Deathmaster Snikch’s starting position in the Vortex and Mortal Empires campaigns. We stealthily take a look at his faction traits, rites, some additional units, lords, and heroes, and his unique items, the Whirl of Weeping Blades and the Cloak of Shadows.
- II. Shadowy Dealings and Clan Contracts – Deathmaster Snikch and his cohorts from Clan Eshin can complete contracts from the main Skaven clans — Mors, Pestilens, Moulder, and Skryre (sorry, Tretch). Likewise, Clan Eshin lords and heroes may perform actions with a 100% success chance, but there’s a price to pay.
