Owners of Total War: Rome 2 will get a free upgrade and the new DLC in a couple of weeks.

Creative Assembly are set to release the Total War: Rome 2 Emperor Edition on 16 September which includes the new Imperator Augustus Campaign which covers the events of the  2nd Triumvirate War.

The Emperor Edition comes with new updates to the base game such as overhauled building chains, a redeveloped and more impactful politics system, and an improved campaign and battle lighting.

Just to reiterate, if you already own the game the new DLC is free, you will be upgraded to the Total War: Rome 2 Emperor Edition for free.
