One of the tutorial sidequests in Torchlight III‘s campaign has you constructing your own wardrobe. Like many facets of the game such as enchanting, equipping relics, increasing your Gear Luck stat, selecting pets, or refunding skill points, building this structure is also done in your personal fort. Here’s our mini-guide to help you out.

Torchlight III: Building your own wardrobe
Building your wardrobe is one of the last few tutorial quests you’ll have in Torchlight III. It’s not complicated at all, though there are additional steps compared to the other sidequests. First, you’re going to need to open your fort construction panel to build a stonemason (Functional -> Crafting tab).
This requires 100x wood and 100x stone rocks which can be found in various areas of the game.
Once you have all the requirements, construct the stonemason in a nifty corner of your fort and make sure you’ve got some leftover stone rocks too. You’re going to need 10x stone blocks — rocks can be crafted into blocks at a 2:1 ratio via the stonemason.
Wait for a while until you finish crafting and pick up the stone blocks. You can now create a wardrobe (Storage -> Wardrobes tab).
Keep in mind that the wardrobes are class and mode-specific. This means a Sharpshooter playing in hardcore difficulty will need a Terracotta Sharpshooter Figure (Hardcore).
There really isn’t a lot that could be done with this feature, as far as I could tell. At most, you could swap a few items over so that they’re placed on your wardrobe as decoration and that’s about it. You could also change the gender of the statue (if the class allows it) to see how your current equipment would look like.
Torchlight III is available as part of Steam’s early access program. For more information, check out our guides and features hub.
