Not good news, I’m afraid. The highly anticipated, and tasty looking, Tomb Raider reboot has been delayed. It’s now due for a Q1 2013 release.
A post on Eidos’ official forums from Crystal Dynamic’s Darrell Gallagher revealed the delay to the game, a “fall 2012” launch was previously planned.
The reason, according to Gallagher, is to deliver “the best game of our careers,” and this delayed will “allow us to put the finishing touches into the game and polish it to a level that you deserve.”
Tomb Raider is still expected at E3 next month.
