THQ has secured the WWE license for the next eight years beginning next year.THQ has been working primarily on the SmackDown vs. Raw series an expanding into all the Wrestling pockets, with Legends of Wrestlemania released earlier this year.”This agreement ensures that WWE games will continue to be an important cornerstone of THQ’s annual release schedule for the long term,” said THQ CEO Brian Farrell.This news comes after the dispute between THQ an partner Jakks Pacific over an unauthorised contract extenuation in which THQ won, with $23 million USD pocketed too.”We look forward to working directly with WWE to expand their brand in the video game space through continued game play innovation and increased online delivery of WWE content,” said Farrell.Eight more years…
