Steam appear to have just leaked the release date for The Witcher 3’s last expansion pack. The DLC’s store page had a release date noted of May 30th. The page has since been taken down, so one can only assume that this is the correct date. Here’s a screenshot of the page before it was taken down:
Not much has been announced about the latest expansion, but here is what we do know from the developers
- Blood and Wine, a 20-hour-plus tale that will introduce the all-new in-game region of Toussaint, will take Geralt to a land untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly ritual masks an ancient, bloody secret.
- Toussaint, the new realm we’re creating for the expansion, is unlike anything you’ve seen in Wild Hunt – carefree and colorful, but your gut never stops telling you that there’s some real dark stuff happening underneath all that.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt fans amongst us will be hoping this date is true, but surely you can’t all be finished with the hours-and-hours of content on offer already, can you?! As we are inching towards to end of the month and the prospected release date, there is hope that we will see an official release date very soon.
