A busy week all round saw reviews for Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection, as well as those for download-only titles Scarygirl and Sol: Exodus.
Of course, we haven’t forgotten about those games on the horizon either – the past seven days seeing previews for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and the incredibly interesting Black Knight Sword.
Perhaps the two most notable news stories of the week were of the rumour/misunderstood variety. The latest rumour regarding the next Xbox is that it will be six times the power of the 360 and will have 20% the graphical processing capabilities than Nintendo’s Wii U.
Then there was the internet-wide reporting that CD Projekt RED had announced The Witcher 3. Which, of course, they hadn’t – otherwise we would have written about it.
For those looking to link the past to the present, Peter has provided us with Ten Lessons we can Learn from Space Invaders. Plus, don’t forget to listen to our podcast.
