Our weekly round-up of the top news, previews, reviews and features.
The wealth of news at the start of the week dried up somewhat towards the end but, nonetheless, a few gems made their way into our headlines over the past seven days. See how good we treat you? To counteract the comparitively slow week of news we did our best to keep you occupied with a host of features. We kicked off our ‘An Evening With’ features by spending time with Killzone 3’s multiplayer and the recently released Defiant Map Pack for Halo: Reach.
We also chat with the men responsible for Gears of War 3 and Homefront as well as correct the wrong decisions made at the videogame BAFTA awards.

It’s always a good week when Gears of War is involved, which is why we were so excited to get our grubby little hands on the upcoming beta. If you prefer moustaches over chainsaw-gun weilding mad men then you’ll find comfort in our early look at Mount & Blade: With Fire & Sword.
