As far as reveals went, there were a few bits and pieces to talk about. We don’t have high hopes for this one but who knows it may surprise us.A new Tron game announcement was expected and Tron Evolution was shown for the first time at the awards via the trailer below.Fighting fans were treated to the premiere of UFC 2010 which has a release date set at May 25th. The trailer shown revealed what you’d expect, the fighters talking up the sport and some in-game footage which actually looked pretty decent. UFC 2009 scooped the award for Best Individual Sports game which will be a boost the developers and the franchise. We’re all very excited about the new Medal of Honor title which was on show via a trailer at the awards. IncGamers will have much more on this just after the new year so make sure you keep an eye on the site. One of the big reveals this evening came from Lucas Arts for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2. The first trailer premiered this evening showing an intrepid Jedi, backed by the voice of Darth and Yoda, enter an arena to take on a mighty beast with dual light sabres and some nifty force powers. We’ll fill you in on further details when the dust settles next week and more information is forthcoming. One of the unexpected pieces of news from the awards was the sequel to the top selling Batman Arkham Asylum. The game did phenominally well for developer Rocksteady who also picked up the Studio of the Year Award at the VGAs this evening. Hit up the reveal trailer belowWith every band under the sun jumping on the Rock Band bandwagon, Green Day took some time out from their Australian tour to announce their very own Rock Band game. There’s not much more to say about the game right now, it’s a Rock Band title and it features Green Day music. Now whether that’s a bad thing or not is for you to decide.A clip from the Prince of Persia movie was also shown at the awards as a quick teaser, The movie is still in production so they are obviosly keeping much of it under wraps. Staying on the PoP topic, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands game also got an airing with a premiere trailer.Halo Reach was the one game many viewers were waiting for, and yes it does look fantastic based on what we saw of the trailer.Other premieres included a trailer for Crackdown 2 as well as Spec Ops: The Line. The Spec Ops trailer shows the game’s setting as Dubai and was actually leaked quite a while ago although the game’s full title wasn’t known at the time. That was it for another year, at least we made it through the ad breaks and speeches in one piece.
