Official review – It’s going to be quite an adventure when you’re playing The Survivalists. But, is it worth your while? Let’s find out in our official review.

Beginner’s guide – Starting out all by your lonesome on a desert island can be rough. Here’s our beginner’s guide to help you get back on your feet so you can continue your journey.

Managing your monkeys – You don’t have to go at it alone because dozens of monkey companions can follow you around. You can teach them a few tricks so that they know what to do in future situations. Monkey see, monkey do, as they say.

Crafting mechanics and recipes – Crafting is a key feature in The Survivalists. You’ll need to have all the right ingredients and materials if you plan on living off the land.

Campfire cooking: Food and ingredients – You need to gather scraps, build a campfire, and cook food if you want to stave off hunger.

The Mysterious Stranger – This fella appears every now and then. You might gain a few clues on how to leave the island. Alternatively, you could sell some of the stuff you don’t need.

How to defend against raids – You don’t want to come back to a ransacked camp from time to time.

How to sail to new islands – It’s a big world out there, albeit one where you’re stuck in the middle of nowhere. As such, you might want to travel to new islands and explore those nooks and crannies.

Where to find mud and sand – Are you digging for treasure? Nope. You’re just looking for soil samples.

Where to find metal, gold, and gems – These are mid to late-game crafting materials, and you won’t find them on the initial island.

The Survivalists is available via Steam. It releases on October 9, 2020.
