The Secret World’s Kingsmouth Trailer Released

FunCom has released a teaser trailer for its upcoming MMO The Secret World, centred around the town of Kingsmouth which was revealed last week.

The faux Kingsmouth website shows the town to be a sleepy seaside resort, inspired by Lovecraft’s creepy town of Innsmouth. The trailer, seen below via Gamespy, takes the form of CCTV footage, revealing the fate of Kingsmouth after a mysterious fog appeared, taking most of the population. Now the missing folk are back, but they’re zombies.

The voice-over informs you that there’s a bunch of unaffected residents still stuck in the town, and they need help. Nothing like a bit of zombie slaughter to start us off in a new MMO, is there?
