The Quarry Tarot Cards guide – The basics

Let’s talk about the basics when it comes to finding Tarot Cards or Premonitions in The Quarry.

Tarot Cards in The Quarry appear on your screen when you walk to a specific point in an area, subsequently causing the camera to pan. Then, you’ll need to hit the interact button to acquire them.

If you walk too far or if you take too long, you’ll need to walk back until the fixed camera shows that card again. Be forewarned that there are a couple that are missable, too.

It also bears mentioning that, unlike previous offerings from Supermassive Games, you can’t just watch premonitions/visions as soon as you discover them. Here, you’ll need to complete that particular chapter first. Only then will you have a chat with Eliza, the Tarot Reader. You may then tell her that you want to view the vision through her crystal ball. This will also let you rewatch the scene via the Tarot menu.

Note 1: There are some chapters with multiple cards, but you’re only allowed to pick one. The scenes from the cards that you didn’t choose can’t be rewatched as well. Still, you can create a backup save at the very moment when Eliza asks you to pick, reloading that if you want to watch something else.

Note 2: As of now, there are some cards that don’t have any included scenes, though I’ve tried to clarify this matter. Likewise, finishing the campaign doesn’t let you watch the premonitions you’ve collected (if you never picked them beforehand).
