Gearbox has announced that Battleborn’s open beta is available for preload on all three platforms, PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. That means that you can already go out and start downloading in order to be ready to play the game when the servers will be open to the masses.
Players who own a PlayStation 4 can start with the open beta already from today, while Xbox One and PC users will have to wait until April 13 (10 am PT and it will run until 7 am PT on April 18). Regarding disk space, the PC client is 12GB big, while the PS4 and Xbox clients need a smaller disk space (7,6 GB and 10,6 GB).
Publisher 2K Games has also revealed a sneak peek of Battleborn’s season pass with a new “Bootcamp” trailer that sets up the story of Solus and the Last Light Corporation.
The Battleborn season pass will include five post-launch add-on packs, containing PvE “Story Operation,” taunts and skins. The price for this stuff is $5 each, but you can purchase them up front in a package for $20. There is also the option of buying the Battleborn Digital Deluxe Edition, which will also include “additional cosmetic customizations” for $75. The standart edition costs $60.
