While I’ve got some issues with The Outer Worlds, I had a rather good time with it. Good enough that I finished it twice, even. While it’s not the trickiest of games, a fair few quests won’t hold your hand, and some have hidden possibilities.
But that’s what we’re here for. This page will detail a lot of the quests with hidden objectives or multiple outcomes, and they’ll help you figure out what to do and how to do it.
Be warned, though. While there are no major spoilers for The Outer Worlds in these guides, there are inevitably some minor ones. You’ll see weapon names, location names, and plenty of information about brewing conflicts and possible solutions if you just idly browse through things. As such, we’d recommend only looking through these when you actually reach the relevant quest.
These guides are arranged in roughly chronological order. Some of them (finding the Science weapons, in particular) will take you all over the Halcyon cluster before you can finish them. Others, though, can be done relatively quickly after retrieving them. As such, as long as you actually know what the relevant quest involves, each page should be pretty spoiler-free for the rest of the game.
Finally, if you want to see what we thought of The Outer Worlds, then you can read our full review and technical review via those links, respectively. Good luck, and we hope you’ll consider the PC Invasion corporation for any and all of your future space-based problem-solving needs.
