Mortal Kombat 11 Launch Trailer

The official Mortal Kombat 11 launch trailer brings back the 90s

This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

The Mortal Kombat series first broke ground in the 1990s. The cabinet was almost a staple game for every pizza joint and anywhere you might expect to see a quarter-eating machine. The game then made its way to home consoles in many different forms. But, the live-action movie in 1995 was really when the sounds of kombat became a recognizable phenomenon. The music that many have grown to recognize as the Mortal Kombat (Dimitri Vegas and 2WEI -Techno Syndrome) song is front and center with the official launch trailer for Mortal Kombat 11.

The main focus for Mortal Kombat 11 has been how the game is uniting both past and present fighters. Characters like Baraka have had spotty appearances over time, seeing releases on some titles but not all. The official launch trailer aims to hype you up for the next MK iteration, having the “Techno Syndrome” song pumping as we see more events that have shaped the eleventh title in the series.
