Rocket League will be getting a major new feature in just a few days: Rocket Pass.

This is a new time-limited progression system that encourages you to keep playing in order to advance to higher tiers. Doing so will nab you increasingly better rewards. There will be a Free tier along with a Premium one that is accessed through a purchase (price has not yet been announced). Psyonix expects that it will take players an average of about 100 hours to advance through all of the tiers—definitely quite a marathon!

The first Rocket Pass goes live on September 5 and will run until November 26. Check out the new trailer:
