An asymmetric alpha test is to get underway at the end of next month for The Flock.

Vogelsap’s The Flock sounds like it’s going to be a blast and PC gamers will have the chance to test the game starting on 31 October. Vogelsap describe The Flock as an “symmetrical multiplayer thriller” in which the Flock hunt down the Light Carrier who must use the light source to fend off attacks from players assuming the Flock role. Should the light carrier be captured the player’s role will switch. It’s a game of hunt or be hunted.

The alpha test application page is now up and running and interested gamers will need to add their email address, Steam name, and explain why they want to take part in the testing process to be in with a chance of taking part.

You can read more about The Flock in our interview with Vogelsap’s Jeroen van Hasselt which we ran a couple of months ago. Do give that a read because it should be enough to make you dash over to get your name on that alpha test list. This is one game we’re keeping a close eye on because it sounds like it’s going to be a blast.
