The Crew’s Customisation trailer is basically car porn

A newly-released trailer for The Crew claims to show off the game’s vehicle customisation aspects.

It technically does this, mostly by showing one car customised to various different specs so that it can manage everything from lengthy straights to windy dirt roads. What it really does is show cars going very fast, at rakish angles, in beautiful environments. This isn’t really a bad thing, mind.

The Crew is Ubisoft’s forthcoming online open-world racer, which pretty much gives you the entirety of America (scaled down, obviously) for your driving pleasure. You can go from Seattle to New York, or fool around in the deserts of Nevada, or whatever, all while following a slightly bonkers plot about a corrupt law enforcement agent and some guy who stole your brother’s car gang.

The Crew was originally due out soon, but was recently delayed until 2 December. The trailer can be seen below.
