The Crew is getting an 18 March patch to improve handling

The Crew will be getting a pretty major sounding patch on 18 March, addressing car handling, physics, camera issues and quite a few other things besides. Full changelog details are available at the Ubisoft forums, but these are the highlights.

Handling improvements for a range of cars, including the Ford Mustang GT 2011 (Street) and 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT-8 392 (also Street.) A fix to wheel-spin issues (especially when using Nitro bursts) in cars like the Lamborghini LP640 (Circuit) and BMW Z4 sDrive35is 2011 (Circuit.) And more realistic top speeds in certain Full Stock models like the 2012 Dodge Charger SRT-8 and Ferrari 458 Speciale.

That’s not a full list by any means, so check the link above for every change to every car.

Ubisoft says this patch will also improve global collisions with traffic cars and landscape, plus lower the impact of breakable objects. Snowy trails in The Crew will get a reduced number of bumps to help cars handle better on them.

A new Player vs Player mode called ‘Blitz Brawl’ will be introduced, which sounds like an area control type of thing where cars have to stay within a scoring zone. In another PvP change, Faction vs Faction is now just Crew vs Crew (the mode will no longer take into account player faction.)

As well as all of that, the patch will add some new faction missions, six new tuning specs and attempt to fix a few bugs.
