You will see the humble Garden Gnome all over the Fallout 76 wasteland, and usually, you wouldn’t need to pay any attention to them. However, every so often, a weekly challenge will pop up, requiring you to grab them. All of a sudden, you have forgotten where you’ve seen them, so here are some of the best spots.
Easy places to find Garden Gnomes in Fallout 76
Pop across to these Fallout 76 locations to complete your weekly quickly. Or, if you like, just populate your garden with the little freaks.
Huntersville Garden Gnome stash
There are main spots around the map where you can quickly find two or three Garden Gnomes in Fallout 76, but none have quite as many as Huntersville. In this town, there is a real aficionado of the pointy-hatted menaces, and you can grab them all.
Head into Huntersville via the spawn point. Be aware that there may be the odd super mutant and rabid dog around, so sneak or shoot your way in. Once you have gone through the torn chainlink fence, take a right at the first house you see. You should be able to get into the back garden via the side alley to the right.
In the garden, you will see one solitary Garden Gnome minding his business. He is just the start of the payload. Turn to your left and head to the outdoor toilet standing in the corner of the garden. In here is the Fallout 76 motherload of Garden Gnomes. Take all the ones you need.
The murderous Garden Gnomes of Fort Defiance
I tell myself every night before I go to sleep that the Gnomes can’t hurt me; they’re not real. However, these little guys seem to prove that theory wrong. Head to Fort Defiance and cut a left off the road until you reach the small bridge marked on the map. Now, look down to the right, and you will see a corpse surrounded by four very suspicious-looking Garden Gnomes. Maybe they’re the result of one of the Vault’s terrible experiments?
Gnomes have featured in almost all Fallout games and have always been nefarious little sods. However, their lore has never really been expanded on, sadly, leaving it all up to our collective imaginations.
