Pre-orders are now underway for Battlefield 3 so if you’re wanting to snap up the limited edition, then get ready to part with your cash.
The Battlefield 3 Limited Edition: Physical Warfare Pack is being released exclusively through GAME and Gamestation and includes additional weapons and items. Owners will have access to the Type 88 light machine gun with bipod, the SKS sniper rifle flash suppressor for extra stealth, the armor-piercing flechette ammo for the DAO-12 semi-automatic shotgun and the DAO-12 semi-automatic shotgun to go with it.
Also included in the Battlefield 3 ‘Back to Karkand’ digital expansion pack which features classic Battlefield 2 maps Strike at Karkand, Gulf of Oman and the Sharqi Peninsula but the difference is now you’ll be able to play them with all the new features being added in the Frostbite Engine.
Of course, if you’re as crap as me at Battlefield 2, the extra weapons won’t do you much good but it’s always nice to say you have the limited edition.
