Each Victim character in Texas Chain Saw Massacre has their own unique abilities, attributes, strengths, and weaknesses. Some of these can change depending on the build you create for them, but some characters are simply better to play than others. You can only have four Victims in one match, meaning you have a very good chance that you can play as one of the better Victims. Let’s dive into the best Victims in Texas Chain Saw Massacre, ranked from worst to best.
All Victims ranked in Texas Chain Saw Massacre
- Connie
- Leland
- Julie
- Sonny
- Ana
5. Ana
Ana sits at the bottom of this list, not because she’s useless, but because her ability is a little lacking. ‘Pain is Nothing’ allows her to tank hits from Family members, and gives her poison immunity. The poison feature isn’t all that useful if Sissy isn’t in the match, so that makes Ana’s ability not as appealing.
Sure, being able to take less damage can be useful during those short chase moments. But if you can’t get a Family member off your trail, that ability won’t last forever. Of course, as you level up her ability the more you play, you’ll unlock better features. Overall though, Ana isn’t one of my first choices when playing Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
4. Sonny
If you’re wanting a character with both high Endurance and Strength, Sonny is a good pick. His ‘Heightened Sense’ ability allows him to detect noises of anyone nearby, and pinpoint the noises’ exact locations. Unfortunately, this ability just doesn’t feel powerful enough compared to the other abilities.
As much as it’s helpful if you aren’t sure whether or not a Family member is nearby, many of them are loud enough as it is. Facing off against Sissy or Johnny may prove Sonny useful, as they aren’t as loud as Leatherface. Nevertheless, with his very low Stealth attribute, I don’t think it pairs well with this sensing ability.
3. Julie
Julie is my current main Victim, and there’s a good reason to pick her if you like high Stealth. If you activate ‘Ultimate Escape’, Family members cannot track Julie, and her stamina doesn’t degrade as fast while she’s sprinting.
She also has the highest Stealth, and once I upgraded it even more alongside Proficiency, Julie was quiet as a mouse. This allows me to escape and find Unlock Tools extremely quickly. If you get caught, she can easily sprint away and find a hiding spot with her amazing ability. The only downside to Julie is her Strength, which is her lowest attribute.
2. Leland
Anyone who’s interested in fighting back against the Family members needs to play Leland. His ‘Lifesaver’ ability grants him the opportunity to body check Family members. Anyone besides Leatherface will fall prone on the ground, and are stunned for a moment.
Leatherface, on the other hand, will get stunned for a shorter period of time. It doesn’t matter much though, because Leland is extremely helpful in escape situations. His Strength is already quite high, so if you keep building him, he may make the Family members want to run away from him instead.
1. Connie
At the number one spot on this ranked list is Connie. She has a high Proficiency score, which couples very well with ‘Focused Ability’. This ability allows Connie to pick locks incredibly fast. All escape methods in Texas Chain Saw Massacre involve Unlock Tools in some capacity, so Connie is a must-have for any match.
Lock picking is the most common thing to do in matches. You really can’t go wrong with choosing Connie no matter who you’re facing off against. It also takes quite awhile for most characters to pick locks, making Connie the best character to play in this game.
