Test Drive Unlimited 2 Could See More Islands

This article is over 14 years old and may contain outdated information

Eden Games’ Test Drive Unlimited 2 (TDU2) senior producer, Nour Polloni, has told IncGamers there could be more islands to come for the game post release.
In an interview at the pre-E3 showcase, Polloni said that Ibiza and Hawaii were the “major islands that you’ll have in the game…at least for today.”
When pushed, and asking whether more islands were planned to be shipped with the launch of the game, or as DLC, Polloni said that on launch and “on the first day, we would have these two islands, and following community feedback; if they’d like to have more islands to explore and if there’s a big demand for that, that’s something we could look into.”
Although not really committal in any way, there are hints that we could see more islands in the future for the TDU2 world.
TDU2 has been set for release in September, and promises to deliver an MMO Racer for the first time, hoping to populate its persistent world with loyal and new players who have a penchant for living the luxury lifestyle.  And with a police game mode planned, it’s looking to be quite a lot of fun.
You can find out more about TDU2 later this week, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled.
