Tesco slashes game prices in bid to stay ahead of GAME

UK supermarket Tesco has drastically reduced the price of many games, presumably in a bid to stay ahead of GAME, which was recently given a boost with a new buyer.
A few of the supermarket’s new offers:

Mass Effect 3 £24.91
SSX £24.91
Mario & Sonic at the London Olympics £19.91
Diablo 3 £32.91
Saints Row: The Third £21.91
Street Fighter x Tekken £21.91

The above prices are available in-store and online.
Last week saw Tesco calling itself the “home of gaming“, following GAME’s administration. GAME has since been saved from disappearing altogether, but it’s unlikely the specialist retailer will be able to match the above prices.
