Hugely successful indie game Terraria is getting the full retail treatment from publisher Merge Games, in the form of a ‘Collector’s Edition’.
The thing will only be available in boxed form. So, sorry to the over 1 million people that helped make it a success in digital form, but if you want this fancy new stuff you’re going to have buy the disc.
As of now, the collector’s edition has only been confirmed for release in the EU and will set you back £19.95 (€23.80). It’s due for release on 16 March.
Included in the package is an “exclusive in-game item”, a key ring, a poster and a set of trading cards. So you’ll need to weigh up whether the £14 price-increase over the Steam edition (currently £5.99) is worth a fancy looking set of keys.
Update: The Binding of Isaac is also getting a boxed edition.
